Kevin Ku

Office Manager

Kevin Ku is the Office Manager at One EyeCare LASIK, bringing more than 15 years of dedicated experience in the eye care industry. Born and raised in Southern California, Kevin’s introduction to eye care began when his uncle invited him to work in his practice. What started simply as an opportunity to earn money quickly grew into a passion. Over the years, Kevin discovered the profound joy of helping patients improve their vision—whether through glasses, contact lenses, or surgical care.

Kevin knew he had found the right profession the moment he stepped into leadership and began managing offices. Being able to care for patients with the same attention and compassion he gives his own family confirmed that he was exactly where he belonged. Today, he plays a key role in shaping One EyeCare LASIK into an elevated, boutique-style practice focused on delivering a personalized and exceptional patient experience.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys a variety of hobbies, including basketball, billiards, and spending quality time with his family. His commitment to caring for others—both at home and in the office—continues to define his approach and leadership at One EyeCare LASIK.

Lauren Brito

Surgical Coordinator

Lauren Brito is the Surgical Coordinator at One EyeCare LASIK, bringing compassion, experience, and a deep appreciation for the life-changing impact of vision care. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Lauren’s professional journey took a meaningful turn during two formative years in Hawaii. There, she gained hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned ophthalmologists across the islands—an opportunity that helped shape her path in the eye care field.

Lauren’s entry into the industry happened somewhat by chance, but her passion for it grew quickly. What began as just a job became a deeply fulfilling career as she discovered how rewarding it is to help patients improve their vision. Whether through glasses, contacts, or surgery, she loves playing a role in the moment when a patient realizes how clearly they can see again—an experience she considers one of the most meaningful parts of her work.

She knew she was in the right profession the first time she witnessed the transformative power of clear vision after surgery. Seeing a patient light up with joy and relief after years of struggling with poor vision was a moment that stayed with her. It reinforced that the work she does goes far beyond exams and procedures—it restores something truly special.

Outside of work, Lauren is deeply family-oriented and proud of her cultural roots, with her family originating from Mexico on her mother’s side and El Salvador on her father’s. She enjoys spending time with her partner and their pets, traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines, reading, and cheering on the Dodgers. Her love for people and new experiences naturally enhances her ability to connect with patients and make them feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their surgical journey.
